Wilmington junior Rachael Lewis is making her second straight trip to the state swim meet in Canton. She’ll compete in the 50-yard freestyle preliminaries Friday.

MASON — Rachael Lewis advanced to the Division I Southwest District swim meet in four events.

The Fort Ancient Valley Conference Cardinal Division Swimmer of the Year, Lewis will compete this week in the district meet in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events as well as the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays.

Lewis was a state qualifier last season, finishing seventh in the 50-yard freestyle event.
