OXFORD — Wilmington freshman Josh Quallen and junior Rachael Lewis matched each other stroke for stroke Saturday at the Fort Ancient Valley Conference championship meet. Quallen won the 200 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly, while Lewis won the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle at the league meet. Wilmington did not have any other first-place finishes.
The Lady Hurricane 200 yard freestyle relay team of Hannah Houston, Morgan Schaffer, Madison Law and Lewis placed second overall.
