DAYTON — Wilmington scored two goals early Wednesday and cruised to a 5-0 season-opening win over Stebbins in a non-league girls soccer match. “We came out fast scoring two goals in the opening minutes and never looked back,” WHS head coach Steve Reed said. “This was a great way to start the 2010 season. It was a relief to finally get the first game in after so much hard work put in preparing for this season.” Hilliary Duquette scored in the first minute then Lauren Lewis tallied the first of her three first half goals as the Lady Hurricane seized control of the match. Duquette finished with two goals, also both in the first half. Be first to comment this article | Add as favourites (3) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 42 |
