The Antwerp girls made their move in the third quarter by going on a 10-4 tear, and then sealed the deal by ending the game on a 10-7 mini-run. Kelsey Bashore led the Archers (7-3) with 10 points. Both teams had trouble in the “taking care of the ball” department, as Lincolnview committed 24 turnovers, while the Cougars registered 20 miscues. Offensively, junior Olivia Moore was a welcome addition in Van Wert's lineup after being out with an injury for several games, leading the Lady Cougars in the double-digit scoring column with 13 points, while a total of 10 Lady Cougars etched their names in the scoring ledger. The Lancer defensive effort held Van Wert top-scorer Jessica McClellan to 4 points in the game. Leading Lincolnview offensively was Brittany Katalenas and Shelby Osborne, who scored 12 and 11 points, respectively, for the Lancers.
