Football
DELPHOS - The Blue Jays rolled to a 45-0 victory Saturday night over the Parkway Panthers. The Jays racked up 331 total yards of offense (203 rushing and 128 passing) to record their sixth win of the season. Delphos St. John's (6-1, 5-1 MAC) held Parkway (2-5, 0-5 MAC) to just 234 yards of offense (194 rushing and 40 passing). Jordan Leininger led the Jays scoring with a TD-pass reception of seven yards and a rushing touchdown that covered 22 yards. Blue Jays' quarterback Wes Ulm threw three touchdown passes, the one to Leininger, plus a 16-yarder to A.J. Klausing and 32-yarder to Tyler Bergfeld. Evan Burgei (3-yards) and Matt Brinkman (18-yards) added the Jays other TD's on the night. Jordan Rode added four extra-point kicks, plus a 22-yard field goal to round out the St. John's scoring. Parkway committed seven turnovers to aid the Blue Jays cause.

OTTOVILLE WINS ANTWERP INVITE:
Ottoville's girls scored 37 points to win the Antwerp Invitational while the boys were fourth with 92. Kalida's girls were fifth with 132; the boys were 10 th with 261.
Ottoville's Shayla Siefker won the girls race in 18:57. Ottoville's Drew Bendele was sixth in the boys race (17:41).

P-G runners in Top 25 at Anna
The Spencerville girls bested 16 teams at Anna with Lyndie Brown finishing third overall at 19:05 and teammate Kelli Ley right behind in fourth at 19:10. Rounding out Spencerville's scoring was Ashley Gilroy (12th, 20.00), Claire McConnell (18th, 20:28) and Alexa Brown (25th, 20.56).
"We're getting better each week and that's important with the NWC coming up as well as the tournaments," Spencerville coach Brian McMichael said.
Beth Zimpfer of Jackson Center won the race with a 19.01. Pandora-Gilboa was the only other area team to have runners in the Top 25 with Ashley Sprunger finishing ninth, (19:51) and Sarah Flickinger 19th (20:36). Bellefontaine won the 22-team boys' field, followed by Lehman Catholic and Graham Local.
Tyler Roeth of Houston finished first with a 15:54 while Jim Heider of Lima Central Catholic was second at 16:08. Other area boys in the Top 25 were New Knoxville's Adam Wierwille (8th, 16:46), Spencerville's Jonathan Rex (12th, 16:58), Anna's Derrick Lillard (20th, 17:22) and Lima Central Catholic's Jimmy Kesner (23rd, 17:25) and Noah Burkholder (25th, 17:32). There were 249 runners competing.
Lima Central Catholic won the overall team trophy behind the fourth-place finish of the girls and the eighth-place finish of the boys.
STRYKER, DEFIANCE WIN AT O-G:
Stryker's boys won the Ottawa-Glandorf Blue Meet with 23 points while Defiance's girls won with 19. Stryker's Kenny Graber won the boys race (16:56) while Allen East's Caleb Burkey (third, 17:15) was the top local runner.
In girls, Defiance's Megan Vogelsong (19:57) won while Ottawa-Glandorf's Lyndsey Barlage was fifth (21:13).

Ottawa-Glandorf defeated Wayne Trace 25-19, 25-15 and Ottoville 25-22, 25-21 but lost to host Coldwater 25-24, 26-24. Jenna Ellerbrock had 38 assists total for OG (13-6) while Kori Bruns finished with 30 kills.

Gene Swager's goal was the difference for Continental (5-6-2) in the win over Cory-Rawson (5-6-3).
VAN WERT 2 BRYAN 1
The Cougars improves to 2-10-2 with the win over Bryan (4-10) Saturday. Blake Davis tallied both goals for VW, while goal-keeper Jacob Hood collected eight saves. VW out-shot Bryan 15-10.
