VWMS football announcement: VAN WERT -- All Van Wert middle school football players are reminded that equipment handout will be on Wednesday (07/30/08) at 10:00 a.m. at the stadium locker room. All physical and emergency forms must be turned in at this time and can be turned into Coach Blackmore. Practice begins Monday (08/04/08) and will run from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. All middle school players are to meet in the middle school locker room. Uniform of the day will be running shoes, cleats, and helmets. If you have any questions you may call Coach Blackmore at 419-238-7856. ----- *Blue Jays Lady Golf announcement: DELPHOS - Delphos St. John's girls golf coach Andy Miller has announced that pre-season practice will start at 10:00 a.m. on August 4. Any girl interested in playing in the 2008 season should show up at that time. ----- *Blue Jays girl's soccer announcement: DELPHOS - Delphos St. John's girls soccer coach Jodi Hoersten has announced that the annual pre-season alumni scrimmage has been set for 2:00 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Annex. All past players are invited to come back and play against this year's varsity squad. ----- *Delphos Midget Football announcement: DELPHOS -- Signups for the Delphos Midget Football Association will run from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at the Stadium Park shelterhouse. This is for anyone between the ages of 9-12 not currently on a team. You must be 9 by Sept. 1 and no older than 12. Try-outs will be from 6-7 p.m. Aug. 4 and 5 near Stadium Park Diamond No. 4.
