Stechschulte-Weber camp
Former St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Gene Stechschulte and former Marietta coach Tom Weber are holding the Pinnacle Performance baseball camp on June 16-19 and July 7-10. The camp will be at Weber Field, between Ottawa and Findlay on State Route 224. The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.each day. The cost is $95 for players 8-14. LIMA - The Lima Family YMCA in conjunction with Triple-Threat Athletics has announced the return of Lisa Bradley, a former standout at Bath, for a four-day youth basketball camp from July 21-24 at the YMCA.The boys and girls basketball camp for grades 2-8 will begin registration at 8 a.m. on July 21. The four-day camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day with an awards ceremony that will be open to the public. Cost of the camp is $150 per person, lunch is included. Ohio Northern University Boys Basketball Camp
ADA - The men's basketball staff at Ohio Northern will have its 36 th summer of basketball camps on the ONU camps in July. LIMA - The 10 th Annual Midwest Double Metric Century will be June 28. The ride will be along the Blanchard River Valley from Lima to Findlay and back. Bluffton Family Recreation
BLUFFTON - Bluffton Family Recreation will have adult 3-on-3 pickup soccer from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. It will run through Aug. 6. BFR will also have a 3-on-3 Goals Galore Soccer Tournament on July 26. Age groups will consist of U8, U10, U12, U15, U19 and adult. Four players are allowed per team. The cost is $60 per team with a three game guarantee. Registration is due by July 2. BFR Soccer Camp for new U8 players will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on July 28-30. The camp will work on foot skills and practice drills that incorporate the new rules for U8 soccer. BFR will have a soccer camp for children who are Under 12-Under 15 age group for the upcoming fall season. Cost for either camp is $30 for BFR members, $40 for nonmembers.
