Lincolnview scores 17 runs on 16 hits to improve their record to 2-3 Monday evening. Taylor Hoehn pitched all five innings, giving up one run on three hits. Caleb Girod led the offensive attack for Lincolnview going 3-4 with six RBI. Clayton Longstreth and Jeremy Morris also had three hits for Lincolnview, while Austin Kayser and Ian Bracey each had two hits.

On Saturday, Lincolnview defeated host Antwerp 17-7 in the first game of a double-header, but then fell to Delphos St. John’s in the night-cap 17-4.

The Lincolnview Lady Lancers remained undefeated on the young season as they bested Van Wert’s Lady Cougars by a 2-0 count Wednesday afternoon in girl’s varsity softball action at VW’s Jubilee Park.
Baseball:
VW 5, St. M 3
Senior Tyler Putnam pitched and hit Van Wert to a 5-3 non-conference win over WBL-foe St. Marys. The league game between to two will be played at a later date. Putnam went the distance, surrendering three runs (one earned) on six hits while walking two. At the plate, he went 2-for-4 with a triple and one RBI.
The Van Wert YMCA is currently registering participants for its spring swim lessons. As well, registrations will soon begin for youth T-ball and baseball and youth soccer starting March 29.
