Delphos Jefferson, behind the double-digit scoring of Kristen Klausing (28 points), defeated the Lady Cougars of Van Wert Thursday night by a 62-37 count.
Jefferson improves to 2-0 on the season with a solid thumping of Fairview, 79-46. With the loss, Fairview falls to 1-1 on the young season. The Lady D-Cats used a 24-12 second quarter run to take control of the game, and also a 25-10 third quarter tear to seal the deal.
