LIMA -- The Van Wert Legion team fell 8-0 to the Lima Legion Wednesday evening in Lima. Van Wert's Kyle Klinker picked up the loss while Lima's Travis Kottenbrock earned the victory. Van Wert collected six hits off of Lima while Lima scored its eight runs on eight hits. Stats and linescore to be posted later today.

Akron is coming off a 42-14 loss on the road against the Lakawanna (NY) Dynasty. Last season, the Warriors were 2-0 against the Jagz. Winning both the regular season and playoff matchups at Lima Stadium. Lima is 3-0 and 2-0 in division play, Akron is 2-1 overall and in division play. The game is being played at Akron St. Vincent/St. Mary's High School in Akron. No word on if Mr. James will be in attendance this week or not. Kickoff is slated for 7:05 P.M. the game will be available via online broadcast at the teams website (www.limawarriors.com) starting at 6:30pm with the pregame show. ADA - Five different players scored touchdowns and the Lima Warriors beat the Ada Dark Knights 64-6 on Saturday. Quarterback Justin Henderson was 13-of-18 for 175 yards and threw for one touchdown while Kaene Runion passed for two scores and ran for another. Joe Butcher had 68 yards receiving and scored twice. Troy Williamson had 4 1/2 tackles and blocked three punts. Jeremy Harnishfeger scored a pair of TDs.
