MIDDLE POINT -- There will be open gyms on Tuesday, July 8, 15, and 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for any girl interested in playing junior high volleyball for Lincolnview this year. All open gyms will be held in the elementary gym. Conditioning will begin on Monday, July 28. All girls interested in playing junior high volleyball should try to attend these events.
VAN WERT -- The Van Wert Parks Department is hosting a Men's Softball Tournament July 26-27 at Smiley Park. Registration will be open until July 23 and can be done through the park office at 137 Gleason Ave. Cost per team is $125 and teams are permitted to have sponsors. All teams' players must be 18 years of age or older. Each team is guaranteed two games and awards will be given out. Registration is based on a first come, first served basis.
