East Clinton 6th grade boys PDF Print E-mail

The East Clinton sixth grade boys traveling league team has finished its regular season with a record of 11-1.

They were co-champs in the league. They also won the KTC tournament beating Cedarville, Blanchester and Yellow Springs. This is the third year these boys have won the KTC tournament. They will finish their season this weekend at the Mini March Madness tournament held at Wilmington College.

WHS girls 9th at sectional bowling tournament PDF Print E-mail

CINCINNATI — The Wilmington High School girls bowling team finished ninth in the Division I sectional bowling tournament at Crossgate Lanes.

“The girls bowled a little above their average as a team,” WHS head coach John Gray said. “Courtnie Camp missed qualifying for the districts by 15 pins.”

Camp had a 500 series, with games of 143, 179, 178.

CINCINNATI — The Wilmington High School boys bowling team finished 12 at the Division I sectional bowling tournament at Crossgate Lanes.

“The guys struggled,” WHS head coach John Gray said. “Not much to say, except it was a disappointing end to a good season. We have nine of our top 10 boys coming back next year.”

Landon Doak led the Hurricane with a 593 series (196-209-191).

ROB 8th grade girls drop FAVC title contest PDF Print E-mail

The Rodger O. Borror eighth grade girls basketball team was defeated by Loveland, 20-18, in the championship game of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference tournament.

The Wilmington team finishes its season with a 16-1 record. This squad had back-to-back unbeaten regular seasons.

The young Lady Hurricane led the entire game until the final 50 seconds, coach Glen Blessing said.
