*All quotes below by Coach Shawn Brewer:

Strengths: "A major strength for us this season will be our depth. We should be able to fill in all our events at least two quality athletes. Having 13 returnees back gives us experience and the newcomers that we have coming in should make us solid in everything. We have two state qualifiers back and with our overall team speed we should be competitive in all our relays and sprints. Distance this year will not be such a weakness due to our newbies combined with our returnees. We should have a good showing in all our field events so this year's team seems to be complete".

Weaknesses: "I don't feel that we have a certain weakness so just staying healthy will be our number one concern".

Overall outlook: "Our overall outlook is very promising. We should be able to compete in all our meets and look forward to getting better as the season progresses. Finding exactly where everyone fits will be our main priority as the season moves on. I expect us to be very good by the end of the season".

League outlook: "The league once again is very strong. I look for Bluffton, Columbus Grove, and Spencerville to be near the top with Delphos Jefferson and us to be challenging them this year at the conference meet".

*All quotes below by Coach Shawn Brewer:

Strengths: Quality.

"The quality of our girls will be our biggest strength. We should have someone very competitive in every event. We have a lot of experience back and some good young talent coming in that will help us. Our field events should be very solid with our two regional qualifiers back from last year. We also have just enough depth to fill our relays to be very competitive. Our 1600 and 800 races should be solid also".

Weaknesses: Depth.

"Depth could be our biggest problem. We have several girls that will compete for first in the events this year, but our number one question will be who are our next best runners and can they score enough points. The 1600 and 3200 relay will be a concern for us. Without having a cross country team, we don't have many distance runners".

Overall outlook: "The overall outlook for our team looks very promising. With our experience and overall team speed, we should be very competitive. As long as we can stay injury-free, I feel we can compete with most teams on our schedule. I am optimistic our young girls will improve throughout the season and make us a complete team".

League outlook: "Our league is very tough this season with a lot of experience returning. Bluffton and Columbus Grove will be the favorites with Spencerville and Lincolnview up there also. The other schools have some very good individual team talent so we will be looking to improve on our fifth-place finish last season and compete with the best".
