PAYNE -- Limited spots remain for the 2008 Payne Ball Association softball clinic to be held March 28-30 at Wayne Trace High School. Mr. Bob Pelle, a nationally and internationally known softball instructor, will be the featured clinician at the camp. A coaches/parents clinic will be held on Friday, March 28, with beginning and intermediate clinics for pitching, hitting, fielding, catching, baserunning and bunting being held on Saturday, March 29. HAVILAND -- The Northwest Ohio Basketball Club will be holding team tryouts for current grades 9-11 boys on Sunday, March 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Wayne Trace High School, 4915 U.S. 127 near Haviland. Teams will play in tournaments in: Fort Wayne, Ind.; Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; Indianapolis, Ind.; and Louisville, Ky.
