WOOSTER, Ohio – Mark Miller (Convoy, Ohio / Crestview) closed both ends of a doubleheader, giving him school records in saves for a season with nine as well as for a career with 17, all while helping The College of Wooster to a 2-1, 2-0 sweep of visiting Kenyon College during Saturday’s match-up between the top-two teams in the North Coast Athletic Conference East Division. Miller tied the Wooster single-season saves record (Jim Robertson, 1990) last spring and now has already upped it by one through 21 games this year. Just a sophomore, Miller surpasses Rich Danch, the school’s current golf coach, for the career lead in the category. Danch had 16 saves from 1986-89.
