DELPHOS -- Delphos St. John's Chad Reynolds, a 6-8 junior forward, has been named to the 2008 NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball All-American Team as an honorable mention selection. Reynolds led the Trojans in both scoring and rebounding this season — 16.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. The team leader in free-throw percentage, he shot 80.2% from the line this season. He was fifth in the Mid-Central Conference, shooting 51.1% from the field, and ranked 30th in the nation with a 44.2 percentage from the 3-point line. Earlier this month, Reynolds was named to the MCC All-Conference second team.

Payne Ball Association holding softball clinic

PAYNE -- Limited spots remain for the 2008 Payne Ball Association softball clinic to be held March 28-30 at Wayne Trace High School. Mr. Bob Pelle, a nationally and internationally known softball instructor, will be the featured clinician at the camp. A coaches/parents clinic will be held on Friday, March 28, with beginning and intermediate clinics for pitching, hitting, fielding, catching, baserunning and bunting being held on Saturday, March 29. An advanced offering of the pitching and all skills will be held on Sunday, March 30.
