McClain had eight players finish with at least one hit. The Tigers finished with 10 hits in the game.

The win improves the Tigers to 3-1 on the season, 1-1 in the SCOL.

The game was tied after the first inning at two, but the Tigers broke the game open in the second, scoring five runs. The Golden Eagles came back in the bottom half of the third, scoring three runs, but the Tigers scored three runs in the final four innings to seal the victory.

"Both teams hit the ball well," McClain coach Brandon Streitenberger said. "We had good timely hitting and we didn't strand a lot of runners on base."

The next game for the Tigers will be today, as they travel to face Logan Elm in non-league play. The Tigers will face Washington C.H. at home on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
