Thankfully this one is over!!!!! WHS 52 Kings 22. The WHS students chanted Thanks for Practice as this one ended then the Kings students responded with Lets Play Football. Touche. ----- WHS 40 Kings 17 after three. Berlin nets 6 in the quarter. ----- WHS 30 Kings 10 at the half. Kings is being very patient on offense but the Hurricane defense is really playing well. WHS a little sloppy at times with the ball but Kings also not shooting well enough to take advantage of it. ----- Kings calls timeout at 3:28 with WHS up 25-6. Kings finally broke a string of 15 straight Wilminton points at the 6:11 mark of teh second quarter. ---- Wilmington scores the final 12 points in the first quarter and leads Kings 16-4. Nyles Williams 3 pointer ignited the run. ----- The unbeaten Hurricane (6-0) are in the house at a recently refurbished Kings High School to face the Knights, who are a deceiving 1-6 on the season. The JV game at 6:56 pm has about 90 seconds left in the third quarter. Stay tuned .....
