We had some technical difficulties with the blog in teh second half. Massie won the game 28-0 over EC but the Astros gave the Falcons a lot of good scoring opportunities because of mistakes. But a good team takes advantage of the miscues and CM did just that. It wasn't as bad as the score makes it sound but the Astros could've made it a lot closer without some of those unforced errors. Scott Wilkie had 2 big TD runs for the Falcons in the second half, one a 70 yard jaunt to paydirt. Austin Miller came in at RB for the Astros and earned himself more playing time with several big runs. ------ SCORE UPDATE: Northwest 14 Wilmington 6 late in first half CM 7 East Clinton 0 getting ready for third quarter ------ Massie on the move but EC has dropped 2 passes on 3rd down that would have been ifrst downs and then had a penalty that cost them. ---- 65 yard play on the first play of the second quarter McCormick to Running gives CM a 7-0 ------- Neither team moving much early but Massie has good field position on its second drive. ------- Both teams are on the field warming up. A light rain has started here but isn't expected to be restrictive in any way for the game. We'll keep you posted.
