Oh heck yes. Felder was the most talented player of the three seniors last year. Though Jay was the best player on the team because he worked harder than Felder. That is also the reason Kidwell and Chadwell are at college now. But yes, I HATE to see that talent go to waste.
We are about half way through now. Does anyboy want me to put up the rankings again like last year? I will be more than happy to do it if I have enough intrest. I will either do a SBC/SHL Top 10. Or SBC top 5. I do not know enough about the SHL to do SHL only. Just let me know, thanks!!
He isn't getting playing time because of him not seeing eye to eye with the coach from what I understand. He is a very good player that would only help Western, so I don't know.
As far as stats, the best thing I can tell you is the Cincinnati Enquirer high school preps page. It will give SBC schools. Let me know if you find a SHL stats page.
I would think that they need to get out soon, the questions is just to where? It kills them playing in the SBC. If they beat D3 and D4 teams, who cares it is small schools? If they lose, OH MY GOSH, they lost to a small school!?! That is what kills them in the tournament draws.
Haven't been to a game yet either but was also surprised. I haven't heard anything bout an injury. When Chadwell is in it looks like he is putting up pretty decent numbers with his limited time. I don't really know though.
I don't think they are down from last year, it is the same team besides Meranda. I didn't always think Meranda was the most talented player on the floor, but she always played the hardest. The G-Ladies have NO guard play this year. Any team that presses them ths year has a chance to win. And I mean any team, this year is not a clear cut National Division winner.
On the boys side, welcome back Jess Chadwell. With the G-Men's win over Blan last night, their SBC win streak goes to, I think, 39 straight games. Dating back to Jay Chadwell's, Ike Felder's, and Cory Kidwell's sophomore year!
When did I say he would win it by himself? I said that he might very well win the SBC Player of the Year for the nxt three years. He is in the small school division and it might very well happen.
Word is Chadwell is back. If he gets back into the swing of things quickly, this kid could very well win the SBC player of the year for the next three years.
What an AWFUL game. I know Georgetown lost a lot, but 36?!? On your home floor?!? They haven't lost there in over two years and they only score 36? Wow. And can someone please tell me who played on the State Championship team last year? Because when it came crunch time, I didn't see anybody who looked like they had played in a big game before. Time to grow up boys. You don't have those three anymore. Jess, get well soon son!
Who you taking? Is Ripley going to be the first to beat the G-Men in over a year? Can Georgetown get it done at home, where they haven't lost in over two years, without Jess? Will be interesting.
I don't see this being true. Wouldn't they have to move into the district? That would cost more than 300 dollars. Plus, they would have to play to pay at EC too, would they not? Even if they were to move, they'd prolly go to Clinton Massie where they could get some looks. Not a weak SBC team. On top of that, if they were to go to a SBC team, they woul prolly go to Georgetown. They have played AAU basketball with Jess for the past 2-4 years. I see this as just a rumor.
I chane my mind, haha. Jess Chadwell is hurt. If he is healthy they will be fine, but I don't see them winning a lot of games, if any, if Chadwell can't go.
How are things looking? I will bring back the power rankings, but only for the top 5 SBC schools until I get more interests. Also, my pre-season Player of the Year
Top 5: 1.) Western Brown 2.) Georgetown 3.) Bethel 4.) New Richmond 5.) Felicity
