So we're just over a month from the start of football practice... who's the early predictions as to who will be the teams to beat?
I see Trotwood as one of the favorites in the GWOC North with Wayne and Centerville in the Central and Xenia playing for the top spot in the South...
Bellbrook should be the best team in the SWBL and Alter is always playing for the GCL title...

Wilmington lost a lot from last year, so the Hurricane will not likely contend for the FAVC title in their division. However, look out in 2008. This year, the schedule will do them in. As always, WHS plays a rugged slate. Robin Vida has the team on the right path.
Clinton-Massie also lost plenty. It will likely be the Falcons and the Panthers of Miami Trace battling it out in the SCOL. The CM-Alder matchup in Week 10 will be monumental. Dan McSurley always has them right there.
In the Southern Buckeye, Blanchester lost a lot but I still expect the Wildcats to win their division. They won't repeat a 12-1 mark of a year ago, but the playoffs are in the cards. John Lovin will do just fine in his first year at the helm.
East Clinton should be improved but still likely to come up short. Matt Hodge will be improved, too, in his second year as head coach. I think he can do the job he'll just need another year before they will contend for a league title.
