Should mean the Blan and Massie go to 1 and 2 in the computer rankings.  But I still don't completely understand the formula that is used.

Remember the AP poll is just a bunch of AP sports writers giving their opionion of where they think the teams should be ranked - nothing scientific about it - just a bunch of opinions.  And you know what they say about those....    I would think Blan is heavily favored over Goshen and unless a higher ranked team falls - they may not move up in that poll.

The computer poll is a entirely different animal.  Agree Blan will likely move back to 2 and Massie 3 if they both win.

Ah, found it - the Columbus Dispatch website lists the state AP poll - but it is released on Wednesday's - so the new poll should be out tomorrow.

I'm not positive it works this way - but I believe that since WB got beat by WCH ( a division II school that got beat by a div IV school) that it actually hurt Blans scoring (less value placed on Blans victory over WB).  That is probably just one piece of the puzzle, and again - not sure it actually unfolds that way.

I can't find anything on the AP polls past week 4.  Don't think they have a website - only ever see it on the newspaper sites.  Would be a good additon for this site.

If BLUE can take the rest of the season and go into week 11 that truly would be an amazing turn around.... and well deserved.

Definitely will be a good game.  I'm not sure what to make of WCH this year - was blown away when they beat WB.  I think Massie stands tall in the end - my prediction is CM by 10. 

Was a good game - unfortunately McClain didn't show up until the 2nd half.  IF McClain would have played the 1st half the way they did the 2nd they might have had a chance.  Massie totally controlled the 1st.  Massie is too good a team to let get a jump on the scoring like that.  Good game none the less.

You know what they say, any given team on any given day....

That being said, McClain will need to capitalize on mistakes by Massie.  Massie is very good at not looking back, moving on and doing their jobs on the next set of downs.  McClain will have a real battle on their hands.

My crystal ball says Massie by 14.   

Let's hope both programs are strong again next year - will be a great game.

WCH better focus on Greenfield hard - don't believe this will be an easy game.  Think Greenfield is better than they are getting credit for.

Once you put Greenfield away, then focus on losing to Massie.
