Rob Smith is out as the head coach of the Blue Lions baseball team. Why? Do you agree? What are your thoughts.

Appears he was too good for them so they had to can him...  Washington City Schools is bound to sink every one of their athletic teams to the depths of the SCOL....  What a joke.  C'mon Enochs - explain this one...

Robbie, i wish you the best where ever you end up.
Cmon guys lets here some input from both sides ............ I'm ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

School board or anyone on the "inside" isn't going to say anything - they can't legally.

I'm sure everyone has heard all the rumors.  When I was in town this weekend I heard things ranging from arguments with the AD to former MLB pitchers wanting the job.....  regardless, sure smells funny.

Rumors are flying around WCH that Fayette County's favorite son Jeff Shaw wants the job.  Guess that explains why Robbie is out!

I have heard the rumor as well, but dismiss it because it would be in direct violation of the agreement of the teachers union that replaced Jenny Hollar Young as the head coach of tennis.  Unless of course Mr. Shaw is now a teacher.  Which if that is the case, I am way behind the times.  Regardless, it is a sad day to be a Blue Lion.
