Outlook:

"The Lincolnview Lancers are coming off a 11-11 record in 2007. Returning starters include Seniors Roy Salisbury, John Young, Lance Dasher and Mike Evans. Junior Jordan Simpson returns for his second year in the starting pitching rotation. Seniors Mike Evans and Josh Hoehn will help Simpson anchor the pitching staff. Juniors Matt Evans, Kyle Thatcher, and Brock Profit look to be in the lineup to start the season as well. With only nine juniors and seniors on the roster, Lincolnview must rely on a promising sophomore class to assist the upperclassmen. In order to compete, the Lancers must develop pitching depth, eliminate crucial errors, and be able to hit with runners in scoring position, Coach Roger Salisbury said.
