JACKSON CENTER — Jackson Center’s talented volleyball players had a little more on their minds than just getting the season off on the right foot Monday.

Their coach, Kim Metz, was going for another milestone in her long and successful career, which is now in its 20th year.

The Lady Tigers took care of business, though, beating New Knoxville 25-19, 25-9, 25-10 to get Metz her 300th victory, all at Jackson.
