Basketball anyone? 22 high school basketball games scheduled for this week |

Basketball fans of Highland County get ready to visit area high school gyms this week, as there are 22 games scheduled to take place this week involving five Highland County Schools.
Starting today (Tuesday), the Lynchburg-Clay boys basketball team will travel to play the Huntington Huntsmen from the Scioto Valley League at 7 p.m.
In their other game this week, the Mustangs will face Southern Hills League foe Ripley at home on Friday night. In their previous contest, the Blue Jays fell to the Mustangs 55-50.
The Fairfield Lions (5-8) will embark on a three game road slate this week, as they will face Fayetteville, Whiteoak and Adena before the tournament parings are announced on Sunday afternoon.
The Indians (4-10) will travel to Fayette County this week, as they face Miami Trace and Washington C.H.
Hillsboro defeated the Panthers 58-48 last month in their first meeting at the Patriot Center. Against the Blue Lions earlier this season the Indians fell to their SCOL counterpart 61-57.
The McClain Tigers have one of their biggest games of the season at home this Friday night, as they will host the Madison-Plains Golden Eagles, with first-place in the South Central Ohio League (SCOL) on the line.
In their first game this season, the Golden Eagles defeated the Tigers 63-54, ending then what was a 15-game SCOL winning streak for McClain.
McClain will also hit the court the following night, as they will travel to play Southeastern in non-league action.
Tonight Whiteoak will host SHL rival North Adams at Southern Sate Community College at Patriot Center. On December 21, the Green Devils defeated the Wildcats 55-50 at NAHS.
On the girls side, the Lady 'Cats will host Peebles in a rescheduled contest from January 8 due to weather. This will be the first meeting between both squads. Currently the Lady 'Cats are in the top spot in Division II of the SHL with an overall mark of 14-2, 9-1 in the league.
On Thursday, Whiteoak will host North Adams, whom they will be facing for the first time this season.
On Thursday the Lady Mustangs will travel to West Union, then on Saturday L-C will face Washington C.H. at Washington Senior High at 6 p.m.
Against West Union in their first go-around this season, the Lady Mustangs took down their SHL foe 60-44 in a home contest.
The Lady Tigers of McClain will face non-league opponent Unioto, followed with games against SCOL opponents Madison-Plains and Clinton-Massie.
McClain defeated M-P 58-39 at McClain High School. Against the Lady Falcons, McClain edged C-M 51-50.
Fairfield will travel to play Manchester on Thursday night, followed with a home game against East Clinton on Saturday afternoon.
In their first game this season, the Lady Lions defeated Manchester 66-36.
The Lady Indians will play the Lady Blue Lions on Thursday night at Washington, followed with a home game on Saturday night against Madison-Plains.
Hillsboro has yet to face the Lady Blue Lions and dropped their game against M-P earlier this season. Add as favourites (10) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 180
