HILLSBORO — Hillsboro brought out the Fourth of July fireworks a few days early Tuesday evening at Shaffer Park, as they scored a combined 36 runs in a twinbill against Bainbridge Post 14, winning Game 1, 14-3 in five innings and Game 2, 22-0 in four innings.

BAINBRIDGE - Playing their second game in as many days, the Whiteoak Lady 'Cats battled until the very end, but eventually fell to host Paint Valley 46-36, Saturday morning in the Lady 'Cats Classic in Bainbridge.
BAINBRIDGE - Keeping the game close for one half, the Hillsboro Lady Indians were outscored 30-16 in the second half by Piketon, dropping the non-league contest 52-28 on Saturday night at Paint Valley High School, in the Lady 'Cats Classic.
BAINBRIDGE - The McClain Lady Tigers came out in full force on Saturday afternoon, breaking its single-game scoring record, while defeating Northwest 96-46 at the Paint Valley Lady 'Cats Classic.
Taking control early with a 21-8 first quarter, the McClain Lady Tigers controlled the tempo for the remainder of the contest, defeating county rival Whiteoak 56-29 at the Patriot Center in the Highland County Shootout.
With the score separating each team by just three points at the end of the first half, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs used their experience at the varsity level to dominate most of the second half, as LCHS defeated the Hillsboro Lady Indians 56-31 at the Patriot Center on Friday night.
