LEES CREEK — The East Clinton High School volleyball team remains undefeated following a three-game win over Felicity in Southern Buckeye Conference action on Tuesday.
EC won 25-7, 25-14 and 25-10. The Lady Astros are 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in the league. “The girls came out and played a nice, solid match tonight. We talked before the match about coming out strong and keeping our unforced errors low and finishing strong,” said EC head coach Tony Alloy. “Sam Henderson played very well in the middle and served her best match of the year. It was just a solid team win.” For the Lady Astros, Hannah Moore had 10 points, three aces, three kills and 16 assists; Amanda Uhl had nine points, one ace, five kills and three digs; Sam Henderson had 13 points, six aces, one block, went 19-3 hitting and had 12 kills; Julia Schwarz had four points, one ace and two kills; Tessa Witkemper had six points, two aces, one block and six kills; Stephanie Pendell had 12 points, one ace and three kills; Jessie Roberts had one kill, two digs and was 15-4 on serve receive; Mallory Manicho played well on the back row and had one dig.
