DAYTON — For eight minutes, Clinton-Massie made the state’s No. 2 Division III team, Middletown Madison, look like the No. 2 team on the floor. That was until Madison stepped on the accelerator midway through the second quarter for a 13-0 run. The Mohawks (22-0) went on to rout the Falcons 64-39 in a Division III boys’ sectional tournament matchup Monday at the University of Dayton Arena. “Our kids didn’t come out scared,” Massie head coach Brian Mudd said. “But, against a team like that, you have to play a perfect basketball game and we didn’t play a perfect game.” Be first to comment this article | Add as favourites (5) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 73 |
