LONDON — Led by Caitlin Medley, the Clinton-Massie girls soccer team blanked London, 6-0, in South Central Ohio League play Tuesday night. Medley recorded a hat trick, scoring three goals for the Lady Falcons. Heather Gray posted the shutout in goal for Clinton-Massie.
Coach Don Bryant’s team is 9-3-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the SCOL. “It seems like, as a team, we’re coming together now,” Bryant said. The coach pointed to the defense as a group especially playing well as the season nears its end. “The last three or four games, they have really stepped up for us,” he said. Bryant noted Shelby Frey, Melissa Collins, Taylor Duncan and Aubrey Johnson as key defenders for CMHS. Brooke Lamb had two goals for Clinton-Massie and Shelby Goodin had one. The Lady Falcons will play at Washington Senior High School Thursday in the last SCOL game of the season.
