LEBANON — Clinton-Massie was two shots better than Lebanon Thursday at Harmon Golf Club in a girls golf match, 196 to 198. Alexis Stover led Clinton-Massie with a 46. She shared medalist honors with Lebanon’s Jordan Sekevak. Rebecca Flint came in with a 47 for CMHS. “The number one and two players for the Falcons continue to play well,” Massie coach Margie Eads-Walker said. “Together they had three birdies and one par. Between them they had 25 putts. They have been great leader the entire season. I think they are peaking at the right time. They are working hard on the course and really pushing each other.” Be first to comment this article | Add as favourites (3) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 18 |

The Clinton-Massie Middle School club girls golf team shot a team score of 217 Tuesday. Brooker had the low score of the day with a 49. “The girls are working hard to improve on their swings and hopefully are having fun as well,” said coach Margie Eads-Walker. “I have seen great improvement in all areas of their swings but we need to continue to work hard on putting. They love to swing those clubs to get to the green now we just have to settle down and realize how important putting is. That will lower their score.” Be first to comment this article | Add as favourites (3) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 40 |
