The Clinton-Massie eighth grade girls jumped out to a 32-6 halftime lead en route Wednesday to a 45-22 win over Waynesville.

Clinton-Massie (13-0 on the year) was 13-23 from the field in the first half, including making 4 of 7 from beyond the three-point arc. Coach Roger Barber said this was the team’s best offensive effort of the season.

Sydney Brackemyre and Allison Monnin led the Lady Falcons with points each. Casey Uetrecht had nine points, four rebounds and four assists.

Kelly Hayes had four points and grabbed six rebounds. Kaitlyn Barton and Brittany Lauer contributed three points each. Logan Frederick and Shelby Leary had two points each.
