The Clinton-Massie eighth grade girls basketball team completed its season with a 17-0 record.

The young Lady Falcons were 14-0 during the regular season and 3-0 in the Madison-Plains Winter Shoot-out. The team averaged 39 points per game on offense and gave up 24 points per game on defense.

The Clinton-Massie sixth grade girls basketball team was runnersup in the President Day Tournament at SportsPlus in Cincinnati.

The team was 4-1 in the event. Team members are, from left to right, front row, Heather Hurtt, Emilie Fisher, Sidney Avey, Cameran Reveal, and Miquela Santoro; back row, assistant coach Christine McCormick, Chelsea McCormick, Casey Cochran, Taylor Flanigan, Tessa Hicks, Caitlyn Robinson, Mallory Homan, Madison Purkey and head coach Chad Reveal.

LONDON — The Clinton-Massie eighth grade girls won the Madison-Plains Winter Shoot-Out Saturday over Miami Trace, 34-29.

The Lady Falcons complete their season with a 17-0 record.

CMMS trailed 10-7 after one but tied the game at 14-14 at the half. Clinton-Massie led 25-22 after three quarters.

Massie girls drop tourney game in OT, 53-45 PDF Print E-mail

SPRINGBORO — Oakwood converted 10 of 11 free throws in overtime Saturday and defeated Clinton-Massie 53-45 in a Division II sectional tournament game at Springboro High School.

The Lady Falcons end their season with a 12-9 record. The London game, which was postponed by inclement weather, will apparently not be re-scheduled, CM head coach Allen Wilkinson said.

Jordanne Gambill led Clinton-Massie with 18 points. Brooke Sargent contributed 13 points and Stacy Lunsford had 10 points.

Lady Falcons 8th grade moves into MP finale PDF Print E-mail

LONDON — The Clinton-Massie eighth grade girls basketball team defeated Greenfield 47-25 Thursday night in the Madison-Plains tournament.

The Lady Falcons will face either Miami Trace or Washington at 5 p.m. Saturday in the championship game.

Casey Uetrecht had 13 points, three assists and four rebounds for CMMS.
