DAYTON — Aubrey Trampler is the lone Clinton-Massie High School girls track and field athlete still alive in the regional championship after the first day of competition on Thursday in Division II action.
 Aubrey Trampler Trampler qualified for the finals of the 100- and 300-meter hurdles. She enters the finals of the 300 hurdles with the second fastest time — 47.38 seconds. She ran to a qualifying time of 15.71 in the 100 hurdles. Trampler also will long jump on Saturday. Also on the track Thursday, the 4x800-meter relay team of Shandra Hamilton, Alexis Percy, Shelby Frey and Aubrey Johnson finished ninth in a season-record time of 10:05.46. The 4x100 relay team of Caitlin Medley, Trampler, Shelby Goodin and Brooke Lamb was disqualified. Field action will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday with track events beginning at noon.
