The Spirit Warriors spring/summer select basketball program for boys in grades 7-12 is getting ready for try-outs in early March. If selected to participate, players will be placed on a team in the Spirit Warriors Spring League. The NCAA league consists of mostly 7th-8th graders with some 9th graders. The NBA league consists of 10th-11th-12 graders with some 9th graders. The spring league begins in early April and runs through early June, approximately 20 games. Games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Sharonville Recreation Center. Practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Cost for the league is $285 and covers games, practices, a jersey and insurance. All-star players are selected for week-end tournaments. Not all players are asked to participate in week-end events. Cost for tournaments are $35-$40 per player for local tournaments and $50-$70 per player for national tournaments. For more information, contact Ted Creamer at 513-875-3859.
