The Hot Shots U12 soccer team composed of girls from Brown, Clinton, and Highland counties finished its season as tournament finalists. The girls competed in the West Carrollton Soccer Blast tournament playing up an age division in the U13 girl’s bracket. After winning the first three games, they went into the final game against a very talented team. They played well but eventually lost the last game. The Hot Shots soccer skills led them to a second-place finish. “We are extremely proud of these girls for their hard work, effort, and sportsmanship,” coach Glenn Cromer said. They finished undefeated in the M.V.Y.S.A. girls U12 Premier division and were U12 champions in the Xenia Tornado tournament.
