The camp featured fundamental stations, competitions, 4-on-4 games and guest speakers each days. Speakers included Wilmington College All-American Katie Streck. She spoke about post play and post drills.

Bobby Hooper, former University of Dayton and Indiana Pacers standout, explained proper technique and fundamentals of shooting. Long-time high school basketball coach Bennie Carroll talked about “things you can control” and “the differences between fun and joy in sports.” Carroll said, “Fun is easy and requires no effort, while joy is the feeling from dedication and hard work.”

Also at the camp, Wilmington College head men’s basketball coach K.C. Hunt spoke. Hunt is a former player at Wichita State and spoke about the importance of guard play, ball handling and player improvement.

Camp organizer Allen Wilkinson said he was fortunate to have a group of individuals to share their knowledge and demonstrate what it took to make each one of them so successful. “We greatly appreciated having these fine basketball players and coaches taking time from their busy schedules to help make our camp a success,” said Wilkinson.
