Lady Quakers on the air and it's final ... PDF Print E-mail

Jackie Hauke had a key block with 57 seconds left and Halsey Ward knocked in a 3 with 11 seconds to play and the Lady Quakers fell by one, 73-72, to end the Lady Quakers season.

WImikngton 67, Washignton 63 with 5:56 to play.

Wilmington 54, Washington 45 with 11:56 to play in game.

We are here and the broadcast is underway.
Can't blog during the actual game in terms of what's happening, but I will  post scores periodically.

The Ohio Locker Room website will be broadcasting live Friday from Greencastle, Ind. and the NCAA Div. III women's national basketball tournament.

The Wilmington College Lady Quakers will face Washington-St. Louis Univ. 5 p.m. Friday in the opening round of the tournament. 

The pregame show begins at 4:30 p.m.

We'll be back Saturday if they win.

Members of the Lady Quakers are:

• Seniors Gina Hyle (Lawrenceburg, Ind.), Jackie Hauke (Whiteoak High School), Anne Haky (Bay High School) and Katie Streck (Dayton Carroll High School).

• Junior Shelly Warner (Maumee High School).

• Sophomores Marianne McGoron (Fenwick High School), Tearra Harden (Westerville North High School), Claire Brown (Glen Este High School), Ki Godfrey (Marysville High School), Ashley Leon (Col. Bishop Hartley High School), Steph Prechtel (Wadsworth High School) and Kortney Kin (Riverdale High School).

• Freshmen Erin Graber (Springboro High School), Colleen McLain (Olentangy High School), Olivia Waters (Purcell-MariThe Ohio Locker Room website will be broadcasting live Friday from Greencastle, Ind. and the NCAA Div. III women's national basketball tournament.

Of course, Wilmington won the national championship in 2004 at Virginia Beach, Va.
