Falcons, Ram ... the barn's on fire in the 4th PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 31 October 2008

Badin wins it in OT on a pass from Toerner of 21 yards. 33-27. Falcons finish 10-1. Congrats on a great season adn career to the CM seniors.

-------

McCmormick with a 14 yard run UNBELIEVABLE a TD and the Falcons are within one. McCormick shaken on teh play. Dart on for the PAT and it's good. Tyler Borton holds for shaken McCormick. 17.7 to play and we are tied. WOW

-------

ROughing passer penalty on CM really hurts as the Falcons had the play stopped short of first down adn it would have been 4th down but the penalty gives the Rams a frist down,

-------

Logan McCormick 23 yard TD run by McCormick follows another special teams big play by the punt return unit, tackling the punter at about the 27 yard line. McCormick goes in from there. Missed PAT keeps score at 27 Badin, 20 Massie. 5:15 to play.

 The barns on fire again.

-------

Jordan Scanlon with a big 39 yard TD run to breath some life into the Falcons.Dart adds PAT for 27-14 game.

-------

Snellgrove TD run absolutely ran over a couple Falcons to reach paydirt and put the Rams up 27-7 with 10:12 to play in the game.

-------

Third period ends with Badin on top 21-7.

-------

Toerner leads a 90 yard drive to start the second half and the Rams are taking complete control of this game, dominating the Falcons 21-7. The Massie offense is built to play with a lead but now has to come back if they want to continue their season.

-------

Haltime stats have Badin with 173 yards offense and Massie has 57, all on the ground.

-------

It's haltime and Badin leads 14-7.

------

Toerner to Rieman on an 8 yard long handoff run play with 16 seconds to go puts the Rams on top 14-7.

-------

Zach Toerner gets his 21st rushing TD of the year on a 14 yard run and with the Wurzelbacher PAT its 7-7 with 5:31 to play in the first.

-------

Interesting stat note for the night. Badin allows 204 yards per game on the ground while the Falcons rush for 359. If those numbers stay true and Badin can't stop the run, it will be all Clinton-Massie.

Of course, on the CM defensive side, Logan McCormick has 10 picks and Zach Toerner of Badin has tossed for 2,282 yards. Just something to think about....

-------

We're at Frank Irelan Field just before kickoff, getting ready for the Falcons and the Rams on this Halloween Night. WHo gets the tricks and who gets the treats .... Stay Tuned!!
