The Blanchester volleyball team outlasted Clermont Northeastern Tuesday night in Southern Buckeye Conference action, 25-22, 25-20, 23-25, 25-22. “I’m very happy with the way my girls have played over the last two matches,” said BHS head coach Hannah Hertlein. “This is the team that I expected to have from the start of the season, but we were just not able to get it together. These girls have been playing more determined and more confident. We were able to overcome a big lead in the 4th game.” Hertlein said the Lady Wildcats trailed 17-8 when Whitney Skidmore rallied the squad on her serve. She finished with a season-high 16 points.
