BATAVIA — The Blanchester High School girls soccer team suffered a 7-2 loss to Batavia in Southern Buckeye Conference action on Thursday.
Blan is now 2-2 on the season and 1-1 in the league. BHS head coach Gary Monds said the Lady Wildcats dominated most of the game. BHS took 25 shots on goal to Batavia’s 14. “Their shots were all good. We have to be able to shut down the counter attack. When we are on goal so much and they get a counter it takes so much for us to get it slowed down,” said Monds. For the Lady Wildcats, Logan Schrichten and Tori Richardson scored two goals unassisted. Ashley Watkins made seven saves in the goal. BHS returns to action 7 p.m. Tuesday at Williamsburg. Add as favourites (17) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 814
