Fort Loramie snapped a two-game losing streak and moved into sole possession of first place in the county girls basketball standings Saturday with a 72-23 rout of Fairlawn.

The Lady Redskins are now 7-2 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in the county, and the win, coupled with Houston’s loss to Anna, leaves Fort Loramie as the only unbeaten in league play at 5-0.

Fairlawn drops to 0-6 in the county and 2-8 overall as the Lady Jets reached the halfway point of the regular season.
